Summary

The role is located in Central Bedfordshire and offers hybrid-working (3 days a week on-site). This is a permanent, full-time role.
Your Role
A base salary in the region of £47,000 is provided. Additionally, you will have access to all of the following benefits:

Your Role
- Provide Manufacturing Engineering input into industrial transfer bids and programmes
- Help identify the manufacturing resources and supporting functions required for successful transfer activities
- Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate effective industrial transfer
- Define manufacturing approaches, operating principles and supporting technical assessments
- Support existing production lines and new product introduction
- Resolve manufacturing issues through industrial validation, FMEA, process proving and non-conformance activities
- Support the translation of design requirements into manufacturing instructions, configuration control, production BOMs, tooling and Design for Manufacture activities.
- Strong Manufacturing Engineering experience within a production or industrial environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing lines and introducing new products into production
- Knowledge of industrial validation methods including FMEA and process proving
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate design requirements into practical manufacturing instructions
- Experience managing manufacturing documentation, configuration changes and production BOMs
- A proactive approach to technical problem solving with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working across engineering, manufacturing and stakeholder groups while maintaining focus on production safety, efficiency and delivery.
- Relevant engineering apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with further technical education to HNC level or equivalent, or a relevant engineering degree
- Demonstrable Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Ability to interpret design drawings and produce manufacturing build instructions
A base salary in the region of £47,000 is provided. Additionally, you will have access to all of the following benefits:
