Your role

Where you will be based

Your role
- Inspect incoming products and components against purchase order requirements and defined acceptance criteria
- Read and interpret assembly drawings to verify manufactured parts and assemblies
- Examine components for issues with finish, paintwork, surface condition and general workmanship
- Carry out first article inspections and produce the associated inspection and quality documentation
- Manage non-conforming items through appropriate segregation and defect reporting processes
- Inspect printed circuit boards and support ongoing product verification through regular audits
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Level 3 qualification such as an ONC, diploma, NVQ or equivalent advanced apprenticeship
- Practical experience inspecting manufactured components, assemblies or engineering products
- Confidence working with technical drawings, inspection requirements and quality documentation
- Understanding of defect identification, non-conformance control and product verification
- Ability to maintain high workmanship standards while meeting manufacturing demand
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- Level 3 qualification or advanced apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering or assembly drawings
- Practical inspection experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of workmanship and product quality standards
