Where You Will Work
Hybrid-working in Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time role.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of ground integration trial activities across complex engineering programmes
  • Taking ownership of test documentation, ensuring requirements are fully covered and configuration control is maintained throughout the trial lifecycle
  • Managing and supporting ground integration test events, reviewing results and ensuring testing objectives are successfully achieved
  • Producing technical reports and presenting trial progress, findings and recommendations to project stakeholders
  • Working closely with systems engineers, design teams and project teams to plan integration activities and generate evidence for system qualification
  • Coordinating with customers, partner organisations and external test facilities to ensure effective delivery of trial campaigns
  • Supporting investigation and resolution of technical issues identified during integration and proving activities
  • Developing and maintaining risk assessments, test procedures and configuration management controls to support safe and reliable trials
  • Ensuring appropriate trial data is captured, analysed and communicated to support engineering decisions and programme milestones
  • Contributing to the delivery of next-generation ground-based defence capabilities while gaining broad exposure across integration, validation and proving disciplines
Your Experience
  • Experience within ground integration, trials, test, proving, verification or validation environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with engineering teams, project stakeholders and customer representatives
  • Experience working across large multidisciplinary teams, multiple sites and a broad stakeholder community
  • Previous involvement in planning, coordinating or delivering structured integration and test activities
  • Understanding of configuration management, change control and defect reporting processes
  • Ability to analyse technical issues, identify root causes and support effective corrective actions
  • Experience of integration activities involving hardware, software, networks or complex systems would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility, interoperability, environmental or thermal testing would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with risk management processes and safe systems of work within a regulated engineering environment
  • Customer-facing experience would be advantageous
Essential Requirements
  • Eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
    • Experience within trials, integration, test or validation environments
    • Experience leading or coordinating technical activities and stakeholders
    • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and non-engineering audiences
    • Experience within defence, highly regulated or complex engineering environments
What Is In It For You
A base salary in excess of £55,000, with added benefits including options for paid overtime, company bonus, enhanced pension contribution (up to 14%) and 15 additional flexi-leave days.
