Project Engineer (Electromagnetic Modelling)
As part of an EMC and Radiation Effects (RE) team, you will be researching and deploying novel proving technologies and methods, including quality assurance processes for electromagnetic modelling and simulation, such as verification and validation.

What you will be doing
- Developing and apply electromagnetic modelling and simulation techniques to support complex system design.
- Contributing to verification and validation activities for digital simulation methods
- Supporting development of assurance strategies to enable efficient product qualification.
- Producing technical documentation such as environmental requirement specifications.
- Collaborating across engineering teams including exposure to test environments and hardware review.
To be considered, applicants will need to have:
- Qualification to Degree level or equivalent in electronics, electrical engineering, physics or a related field.
- Practical experience with methods such as Finite Element Method (FEM) or Finite Integration Technique (FIT).
- Strong problem-solving skills and electronics technologies.
- Experience using SPICE-based simulation tools
In addition:
- Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST or HFSS is beneficial
- Understanding of verification and validation techniques for numerical models
- Exposure to EMC, radiation effects or related disciplines is advantageous
- Experience in CAD tools or electronic design is helpful
- Awareness of relevant standards within regulated engineering environments is a plus
