Systems Engineer
What you will do
Work within a systems engineering function contributing to the development of complex maritime and defence technologies.
You will help shape system definition and architecture across the full engineering lifecycle from concept through to qualification.
This role gives you ownership of requirements definition, system modelling and cross domain integration activities within a highly regulated environment.
You will also contribute to verification and validation planning ensuring systems meet technical and compliance expectations.
It offers exposure to cutting edge maritime technology programmes and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams working on advanced defence systems.
Who you will need to be
• Eligible for SC clearance and able to obtain it
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in engineering, physics, computing or related discipline
• Experience within defence, aerospace, nuclear or other regulated engineering environment
• Systems engineering lifecycle experience in complex technical programmes
• Requirements engineering experience including traceability and change control
Your experience
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles across full lifecycle delivery
• Experience using requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS
• Exposure to MBSE approaches including SysML or similar modelling methods
• Ability to develop system level architecture and interface definitions
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Understanding of verification, validation and compliance activities
