What you will need
- Over nine years of systems engineering experience within the aerospace sector.
- Proven leadership background managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems architecture, integration and certification processes.
- Proficiency with system modelling tools such as System Modelling Language or MATLAB/Simulink.
What you will be doing
- Leading and developing four systems engineering teams focused on avionics, flight control laws and critical aircraft subsystems.
- Driving core systems engineering processes including requirements management, architecture design and validation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional disciplines such as aerodynamics and structures to ensure seamless aircraft integration.
- Overseeing the creation of system models, simulations and digital twins to optimize flight performance.
- Ensuring complete compliance with international aviation regulations and complex safety standards.
Your experience
- Track record of executing functional strategies over mid-term horizons.
- Experience managing program timelines, resource allocation and department budgets.
- Practical knowledge of risk assessments, failure mode analysis and hazard mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with autonomous systems or unmanned aerial vehicle development is advantageous.
- Ability to interface confidently with international suppliers and global stakeholders.
