Summary
Take technical ownership of complex aircraft systems and influence how maintenance decisions are made on the line. You will use your B2 licence to certify, guide others and deepen your system authority within a regulated aerospace environment.
Location and setup
Bournemouth. This is a fully onsite role with travel for detachment periods as operationally required.
What you will be doing
£66,300 to £71,400 per year with eligibility for a performance related incentive scheme.

What you will be doing
- Certifying avionic and electrical maintenance activities in accordance with approved data
• Providing technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams on shift
• Supporting aircraft operations at main base and detached locations
• Maintaining accurate technical records and certification documentation
• Deputising for senior engineers when required and contributing to engineering decisions
• Driving safety reporting, compliance and continuous improvement practices
- Aircraft avionic systems maintenance experience on complex platforms
• Confidence supervising tasks and mentoring other engineers
• Strong knowledge of maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Clear communication skills and a proactive engineering approach
- Ability to obtain Security Check clearance
• Unrestricted CAA Part 66 Category B2 licence
• Strong experience within a Part 145 aircraft maintenance environment
• Proven understanding of aviation regulatory compliance and safety management
• Willingness to support detachment activity in the UK and overseas as required
