(Senior) Cost Intelligence Analyst
Salary: £45,000-£65,000 Depending on Experience
Location(s): Anywhere in the UK – Hybrid: 3 Days a Week On-Site
We are looking for multiple mid-to-senior-level Cost Intelligence Analysts as part of this global engineering consultancy that works on a range of high-profile infrastructure projects in the UK.
You will analyse and model complex data to enable senior stakeholders to make well-informed decisions.

About the Role:
- Analyse large and complex datasets to understand cost behaviour, variability, uncertainty, distributions, outliers, and structural drivers.
- Support the establishment of expectations for analytical rigour, proportionality, governance, and disciplined reasoning across the Cost Intelligence community.
- Explain complex analysis, uncertainty, and limitations clearly to senior, non-technical audiences, helping shape better informed decisions.
Requirements:
- Background in data analysis, applied mathematics, and statistical reasoning, including understanding variability, uncertainty, and confidence.
- Experience working in infrastructure, transportation or energy sectors, ideally with construction knowledge.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL; Python desirable) used in service of insight rather than reporting alone.
- Familiarity with benchmarking, comparative analysis, assurance, or governance frameworks, such as AACE, IPA, or Green Book.
- Experience explaining and defending analytical outputs in high scrutiny settings where decisions have material consequences.
