Systems Design Engineer

Who we are looking for
• British Citizen with SC clearable eligibility
• Experience in systems engineering across multiple lifecycle phases
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and deliver software or system performance improvements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear engineering documentation
• Desire to progress technical knowledge and grow systems engineering expertise
Salary and rewards
£52,000–£57,000 plus pension up to 14% total contribution
Your role
• Deliver systems engineering activities for software updates and spiral development
• Define requirements, system architectures and interface definitions
• Conduct proving strategies, plans and performance modelling
• Coordinate multiple functional teams to ensure software meets system performance objectives
• Contribute to verification, validation and certification processes
Your experience
• Systems engineering across requirements, architecture, verification and certification
• Functional chain domain experience desirable, including performance modelling
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation capabilities
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Engagement with subject matter experts to expand technical knowledge
