Systems Design Engineer
Take ownership of systems design and influence the development of command and control capabilities. Shape functional solutions that deliver clear, reliable outcomes for complex defence systems.
What you will need
• British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship
• SC clearable
• Systems design or systems engineering experience in similar products
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
Salary and rewards
Up to £57,000, with an annual company bonus based on performance
What you will be doing
• Supporting functional design of command and control software
• Analysing requirements and interfaces, proposing design improvements
• Understanding algorithm performance and behaviour
• Generating requirements for software and hardware
• Investigating and resolving customer queries
Your experience
• Proven systems engineering capability in defence-related products
• Strong problem-solving and innovative functional design skills
• Experience interacting with architects and software teams
• Ability to work on complex, high-value systems
• Clear communication of technical concepts
