Water Mains Engineer
Take ownership of water supply repairs and improvements across multiple locations, ensuring reliable service and high-quality work. Develop your skills while working on practical solutions in the field.
What you will need
• No nationality or clearance restrictions apply
• Experience with leak detection, service repairs or water mains work
• Practical understanding of reinstating surfaces such as paving, tarmac or concrete
Salary and rewards
£32,000–£37,000, plus a comprehensive benefit package including a health plan with cashback and 24‑hour GP access
Your role
• Independently investigate and repair external water supplies
• Establish ownership and liability for leaks and service issues
• Communicate clearly with customers and field operations teams
• Work collaboratively with other engineers to deliver solutions
Your experience
• Leak detection and small-diameter service repairs
• Use of tools such as CAT scanners or listening devices
• Knowledge of trenchless installations is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to reinstate surfaces including paving, blockwork and tarmac
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of tasks
• Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
