Electronic Test and Testability Expert
Stevenage or Bolton – Hybrid, 3 Days per Week On-Site
Salary: Circa £72,000, Depending on Experience
The Opportunity:
The role involves all aspects of missile testing, from early feasibility studies to in-service support, and provides technical expertise that shapes test strategies, improves processes, and drives technical excellence across programmes.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition of project test strategies, technical requirements, and Built-In Test (BIT) architecture, improving specifications across various projects.
- Analyse test data, identify trends, diagnose failures, and implement best practices across programmes during development and manufacture.
- Mentor team members, support bid activities, and influence technical and strategic decisions.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) with extensive experience in electronic test across the full project lifecycle
- Proven expertise in electronic circuit design, testing, and failure analysis techniques
- Experience in test equipment design and requirements capture
- Background in Design for Test (DfT) and testability principles
- Strong project management and planning capabilities
- Ability to provide technical leadership on test equipment requirements and specifications
- Skilled communicator with the ability to influence technical and strategic decisions
- Willingness to travel within the UK and EU as required
