Business Development Manager
Salary: Circa £55,000 plus commission
Remote with regular client visits across the UK, mainly in the North of England and Scotland
A long-established UK-based organisation in the high-reliability electronics sector is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK.
This role is predominantly remote, with regular travel to customer sites and the company’s headquarters in Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales, offering the opportunity to engage directly with clients.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will work independently across a regional territory, identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities. You will represent the organisation to new and prospective customers, promoting products and technical services while maintaining a reputation for reliability and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and make the most of both existing and new customer relationships across the UK
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach, networking and industry events
- Visit customer sites and attend product presentations and technical discussions
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasts and reporting
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in B2B business development or technical sales in electronics or high-reliability sectors
- Knowledge of passive, power, connector or electromechanical components
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging technical and commercial stakeholders
- Experience selling into defence, aerospace, rail or industrial markets
- Commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including visits to Mid Wales HQ
