Configuration Manager
Location: Stevenage – hybrid (2 days per week on site)
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 plus bonuses and benefits
As a Configuration Manager, you will lead the technical application of configuration management processes across a varied portfolio of complex, high-technology programmes.
The role demands confident engagement across engineering, manufacturing and delivery disciplines to ensure robust control of product baselines, change management and associated processes.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver configuration management activities throughout the product lifecycle within designated programmes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key engineering and programme stakeholders to ensure compliance with CM principles
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of configuration management policies, processes and standards
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in a configuration management role within a complex engineering environment, defence would be highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of CM principles, processes and standards (e.g. ISO10007, EN9100, Def Stan 05-57 desirable)
- Strong appreciation of technical networks and product lifecycle considerations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Confident in planning, leading and delivering CM activities across multi-disciplinary teams
