Aerospace/Defence Project Manager
Location: Bournemouth Airport – hybrid working
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
Lead delivery across critical electronic warfare technology programmes as a Project Manager.
An established aerospace organisation is seeking a Project Manager to support a significant electronic warfare technology development programme.
You will manage diverse project work packages within a technically challenging and regulated environment. The role involves understanding regulatory requirements and technical solutions, managing project resources and risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of projects and work packages to agreed time, cost and quality parameters
- Plan, organise and guide project resources and activities while managing risks and issues
- Support and motivate the project team, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
- Track progress, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and support PMO reporting and improvements
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing projects within a complex engineering environment in a safety-critical industry, such as aerospace or defence.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams
- Effective stakeholder management and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a highly regulated industry in a dynamic setting
- Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, understanding of aerospace or defence standards would be advantageous
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas
