Role: Algorithms Engineer
Salary: £45,000–£57,000 plus bonuses and paid overtime  
Location(s): Stevenage (preferred) or Bristol – hybrid working, typically 4 days a week on-site
 
Join a specialist engineering team working on advanced Radio Frequency (RF) seeker technologies.

This role offers hands-on involvement in developing, testing and integrating algorithms critical to complex defence systems.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate algorithms to ensure operational performance
  • Conduct detailed system studies to identify deficiencies and improvements
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate algorithms into seeker models
  • Drive innovation using agile methods, machine learning and AI techniques
 
About you:
  • Proven experience in algorithm development and data analysis
  • Ability to plan and run investigations to support systems design
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, and ideally Simulink
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing (highly desirable)
 
The successful applicant will be supported to drive innovation and process improvements within an agile development environment.
 
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
