Quality Assurance Engineer – Software Process Assurance
Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage – hybrid, circa 3 days per week on-site
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic defence organisation supporting complex engineering projects through their development lifecycle.
Take charge of developing the processes for quality assurance of the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:
We are NOT looking for a software tester or software assurance engineer; we are looking for an engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of the software development process itself.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop requirements, development plans and processes for evaluating both software and hardware to ensure data and results can be used for the qualification of products
- Embed quality assurance into engineering design and development processes
- Work closely with various teams within the company across the UK function
Requirements:
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or similar
- Experience with developing processes for the quality assurance of software/engineering design and development phases
- Working knowledge of process development, including the creation of development plans and processes for evaluating both software and hardware processes
- Understanding or background in software development, ideally in simulation
- Strong communicator who can adapt quickly
