Quality Assurance Engineer – Process Assurance
Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage - Hybrid, 2–3 days per week on-site
This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic defence organisation supporting complex engineering projects through their development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will apply quality assurance principles and Lean Six Sigma techniques to define and measure key process characteristics, driving improvements that ensure customer satisfaction with the safety-critical products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance activities, including project quality plans, risk management, and supplier compliance
- Support resolution of non-conformances and conduct audits of processes, products and suppliers
- Collaborate with programme, engineering and operations teams to maintain quality standards
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance
- Experience with QA problem solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)
- Knowledge of product lifecycle, particularly industrialisation and early production phases
- Proficient with Excel reporting, SAP QM and document management tools
- Ability to implement and monitor quality standards
