Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Victoria Road, London
Day Rate: Competitive
Working: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Contract: Until Jan 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full subcontractor lifecycle including instruction drafting, compensation event assessment, and payment processing
- Control project costs, forecasts and contract compliance
- Prepare and review payment applications and certificates
- Liaise regularly with site teams, subcontractors and client representatives
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and correspondence
- Support risk and value management processes to optimise project outcomes
- Use contract management software to administer subcontract agreements
Experience
- Proven subcontract management experience across the full lifecycle
- Recent main contractor experience in civil engineering or building projects
- Strong practical knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and subcontracts
- Proficient with commercial management systems, especially CEMAR
- Experience producing financial reports, valuations and payment certificates
- Demonstrable ability to manage commercial risks and contractual issues
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
Qualifications
- CSCS card required for site access
- RICS or CICES accredited degree or equivalent experience preferred
