Reliability Engineer
Location: Stevenage (preferred), Bristol or Bolton (hybrid, 2–3 days on-site)
Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
A new opportunity has emerged for a Reliability Engineer to contribute to the development and assurance of highly complex defence systems.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering reliability assessments across development programmes, ensuring alignment with the broader system engineering lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include reliability case development, reliability predictions (including use of FIDES), FMECA execution and risk mitigation planning.
About You:
The role offers a bonus of up to £2,500, a pension scheme with total contributions of up to 14%, flexible working with up to 15 days Flexi Leave, enhanced parental leave, access to paid overtime and excellent on-site facilities including free parking and subsidised meals.
Eligibility and Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

- Experience delivering Reliability Case Reports and supporting analyses (FMECA, reliability prediction)
- Strong knowledge of reliability in complex electronic systems (other engineering backgrounds potentially considered)
- Knowledge of the reliability lifecycle and its connection to system engineering processes
- Application of reliability prediction techniques including legacy and newer methods, FIDES preferred
