Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

The Graduate Electrical Design Engineer will collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver technical solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:
 

• Produce conceptual designs, detailed designs, integration/installation drawings, design specifications, operational documentation, and validation evidence for electrical engineering solutions.
• Work closely with other design engineers to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall project design.
• Ensure all electrical design solutions meet safety, quality, technical, and commercial requirements.
• Participate in internal and external design review meetings, providing input into electrical design matters.
• Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and overall business improvements within electrical design processes.
• Assist in providing electrical design input for bids and tenders.
• Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems and components.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified with a degree (Beng or Meng) in electrical engineering, seeking their first role in industry.  Experience in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD (ideally with other 3D packages), as well as Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook is also required.
