Our client, a leading defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead a team of safety engineers.

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)
Our client, a leading defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead a team of safety engineers.
What you'll be doing:
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of safety engineers, ensuring they are effectively resourced and supported.
- Safety Case Management: Oversee the delivery of safety case reports, including hazard analysis, functional failure analysis, and FTA.
- System Engineering Integration: Ensure seamless integration of safety and system engineering processes, aligning with Def Stan 00-056.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with design engineers, project controllers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of complex electronic systems and associated safety issues.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading and developing teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of safety and system engineering processes, aligning with Def Stan 00-056
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Degree or Equivalent: Ideally, a degree in engineering or a related field.

Security Clearance:
- British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
- Successful candidates will need to undergo SC Clearance
