Our client, a leading defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join their team.
What you'll be doing:
Safety Case Development: Create comprehensive safety case reports, including hazard analysis, functional failure analysis, and FTA.
System Engineering Integration: Seamlessly integrate safety and system engineering processes, aligning with Def Stan 00-056.
Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of complex electronic systems and associated safety issues.
Collaboration: Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, both internally and with external partners.
Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
Research and Development: Contribute to internal research projects, advancing the state-of-the-art in safety engineering.
What we're looking for:
Experience: Proven track record in safety engineering, including hazard analysis and safety evaluation.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK and international safety standards and practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Degree or Equivalent: Ideally, a degree in engineering or a related field.
