Your experience of systems integration, and knowledge of systems validation / test activities will help you to make a difference to the Integration and Systems Validation team working on future technologies including RF Directed Energy Weapons and Stealth technologies.
As an Integration and System Validation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work for a leading multi-national Defence systems provider which boasts some of most advanced facilities in their areas of expertise. About the job:
Our client currently requires a Integration and System Validation Engineers and Leads to be involved in the whole lifecycle of a multitude of differing future technology projects, typically running for only a year or two at a time. Whilst the primary focus is testing of hardware and model validation, a lot of work is involved is getting to the point of testing.
Agreeing testing requirements, producing planning and safety documentation, developing & building test hardware and report writing all form part of the job as well as the trial conduct itself. During trials, you will work as a Trials Engineer or the Trials Lead, where you would be responsible for the trial conduct as well as the health and safety of all personnel during these activities. The test phases also vary in size, from small screened room tests onsite to offsite (UK and overseas) multi week deployments.
Each team member also has a secondary role to do with maintaining and evolving our world leading testing capability.

About you:
As an Integration and System Validation Engineer / Lead you will need;
- Ideally electronic design experience.
- An understanding of trials processes and safety management.
- An appreciation of the verification and validation process delivering a programme in accordance with the DVP.
- Ability to work in a flexible manner to deal with adapting programme milestones and timescales.
- For this role, candidates must be willing to undertake the DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance process.
