We're working with a leading eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) company revolutionizing urban air mobility, and we're seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility Compliance Verification Engineer (EMC CVE) to join our pioneering team.

Your Mission:

  • You'll be the bridge between the Office of Airworthiness and Engineering Teams, ensuring our innovative aircraft systems operate flawlessly by mitigating electromagnetic interference (EMI) and High-Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) threats.
  • You'll play a vital role in the entire electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) certification process, from defining requirements to leading successful testing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the charge in coordinating with stakeholders like EASA to ensure a smooth and efficient certification journey.
  • Craft and refine key documents like the Environmental Conditions Specification, Certification Plan, and HIRF Safety Assessment.
  • Actively participate in EMI and HIRF testing at various levels, from planning and setup to witnessing and data analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of design and qualification documentation for complete system health.
  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate potential EMC risks across equipment, systems, and the entire aircraft.
Are You the Right Candidate?
  • You hold an Engineering degree in Aeronautical Science or a similar field.
  • You boast a minimum of 6 years' experience as an EMC expert, with a solid understanding of RTCA DO-160 test methods and relevant EASA regulations.
  • You possess a broad background in electrical and electromagnetic testing aligned with RTCA DO-160 standards.
  • You have a deep understanding of electromagnetic requirements for civil aircraft type certification.
  • You're well-versed in EASA regulations and practices.
  • Previous experience with type certification processes is a plus.
  • You're a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel occasionally.
  • You have excellent command of the English language.
