Your Mission:

  • As a key member of the Office of Airworthiness, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our cutting-edge avionics systems meet the highest safety standards.
  • You'll collaborate with the Avionics Engineering Team, guiding design choices and test planning with a keen eye for potential certification risks.
  • You'll represent the team in meetings with regulatory authorities, securing approval for our innovative approach to eVTOL design.
  • You'll be instrumental in driving the avionics aspects of our certification program, working hand-in-hand with Airworthiness and Engineering.
  • You'll proactively identify and mitigate certification risks, keeping the Head of Airworthiness informed.
  • You'll have the opportunity to contribute to rulemaking activities, shaping the future of eVTOL avionics regulations.
Are You the Right Candidate?
  • You possess a Master's Degree in aerospace, electrical, communications engineering, or a related field.
  • You boast a minimum of 5 years' experience in aerospace development projects, ideally with proven certification expertise (nominated CVE or DER equivalent).
  • You have a deep understanding of EASA certification processes (Part 21) and relevant regulations (CS-23, CS-25, CS-27, CS-29, ideally SC-VTOL).
  • You're well-versed in certification deliverables according to DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 within the ARP4754A framework.
  • Prior participation in standardization or rulemaking activities (EUROCAE, ASTM) is a plus.
  • You have excellent command of the English language.
