Project Controllers – Cost Control & Planning

The Role

We are looking for experienced Project Controllers to support the successful delivery of complex programmes. These roles focus on project planning, scheduling, and cost control, ensuring everything stays on track and within budget.
You’ll be working closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams, keeping schedules up to date, managing costs, and identifying risks before they become issues. Your expertise will be key to keeping these projects running smoothly.

Important: Due to security requirements, you must be a British national (dual nationality is fine).

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
  • Managing project costs, including budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects moving in the right direction.
  • Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align project objectives.
  • Using data analysis to provide valuable insights and drive better decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in project planning, scheduling, or cost control within a complex environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost control within projects – this is a key requirement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MSP, or similar.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and scheduling data.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively across teams.
  • A British passport (for security clearance purposes).

What’s in It for You?

  • Salary between £50-65K, plus an excellent benefits package, including an annual bonus.
  • Hybrid working – typically two to three days a week on-site.
  • Career development opportunities, with training and progression available.
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
