Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. You will be responsible for assisting with mechanical design work from concept through to medium volume manufacture.
Responsibilities:
- Scientific instrumentation design from concept to final product.
- Test and commission products on-site and provide manufacturing support.
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation.
- Liaise with and provide support to customers.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (2.1 or higher) from a recognised university and a couple of years of experience working in an engineering profession.
- Knowledge and an ability to demonstrate an understanding of fundamental engineering principles including producing engineering drawings.
- A collaborative, personable team player who is excited to work within a small, diverse, multi-disciplinary group but who can also work independently.
