Electus Recruitment is seeking a Hardware Cyber Security Consultant to join a dynamic SME that is part of a larger group of companies poised for significant growth. As a Hardware Cyber Security Consultant, you will contribute to innovative projects that protect the UK from emerging cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct novel, cutting-edge research into vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and systems.
- Create hardware prototypes.
- Perform simulation, modelling and data analysis.
- Network and Protocol analysis.
- Perform OSINT.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of experts to solve complex challenges.
- Strong technical skills in electronics hardware, software architecture, sensors and systems.
- Deep understanding of the connections between software, hardware and infrastructure.
- Experience or interest in hardware cyber security.
- Coding proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
- An enquiring mind and a passion for problem-solving.
- Post-Graduate Degree and research experience or a PhD in a relevant field such as Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
- This is an on-site role. A flexible working policy exists however the applicant is expected to be on-site for the majority of the time.
