Our client are a leading provider of Technical Publications, Computer Based Training, Integrated Logistic Support, Graphic Design, Animation and Marketing Services to global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across a wide variety of sectors.
They are seeking a CAD Technician to join them.

Location: Suffolk, East of England
Salary: 25-30K plus exceptional benefits
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet these criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

This role is permanent position.
They are seeking a CAD Technician to join them.

Duties will include:
- The role will primarily be updating 2D CAD engineering drawings for the nuclear power industry
- You will work alongside a team of dedicated Project Engineers, Technical Authors, CAD Technicians and Document Controllers and site technicians to create and maintain site drawings for various on-site project teams
- As part of the wider team, you will support weekly reporting functions including attending progress meetings with various stakeholders across the business
To be suitable for the role:
- You will have Experience with producing and updating Engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Good understanding of engineering data in a variety of formats from Engineering drawings to Design Reports
- Have experience using different software packages for planning/reporting purposes
